The Recipe Drop is an independent, community-driven and non-profit platform created to share coffee recipes, brewing experiences, and user-generated content. The Recipe Drop is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially associated with xBloom, TBDx Inc., or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates, unless explicitly stated otherwise. "xBloom" and related trademarks, product names, and logos are the property of their respective owners and are referenced solely for identification, compatibility, and informational purposes. Any recipes, brewing parameters, ratings, reviews, and other content shared on The Recipe Drop are provided by community members and represent their individual experiences and opinions. The Recipe Drop does not guarantee that a recipe will produce the same results for every user. Links, references, or features that direct users to xBloom or other third-party platforms are provided for convenience and do not imply any affiliation, endorsement, or partnership. The Recipe Drop does not sell, manufacture, distribute, or modify xBloom products.

Any use of third-party platforms, including xBloom, is subject to the respective platform's own terms, policies, and conditions. The Recipe Drop is not responsible for the availability, functionality, or content of third-party platforms.

By accessing or using The Recipe Drop ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

We collect the following information:

• User-submitted content, including roaster names, bean names, brewing preferences, creator names, notes, and optional app links.
• Images uploaded by users (such as coffee packaging photos) for sharing, visual search, and AI-powered recipe generation. These images are processed to extract product information (roaster name, bean name, origin, and flavor profile) and are not used for any other purpose.
• Names provided by users when rating recipes, kept private and visible only to platform administrators.
• Basic technical data and usage logs to ensure smooth operation.
• Anonymous, randomly-generated Drop Lab IDs and their associated points, levels, and achievements — never linked to your name or email.
• Messages you send to our AI chat assistant when asking general coffee, equipment, or brewing questions.
• Support ticket details (ticket number, your email, and message history) so you can look up and continue a support conversation at any time, without creating an account.
• IP-based identifiers, used only to prevent abuse of AI-powered features and repeated ticket lookup attempts — never used to identify you personally or shared with third parties.
• Account email address and authentication data when you create an account to use scan-based features and purchase Scan Packs.
• Payment transaction records (payment intent IDs and purchase status) when you buy Scan Packs, processed securely via our payment provider Ziina.

We use your information to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve The Recipe Drop platform and search capabilities.
• Generate AI-crafted brewing recipes from scanned coffee bag images or chat requests, and synchronize recipe parameters with xBloom to create shareable deep links.
• Display community-shared recipes and enable direct app redirection (deep linking) for recipes linked to xBloom.
• Maintain a safe and reliable environment for all users.
• Display aggregate recipe ratings and review counts to the community.
• Power our general AI chat assistant for coffee, equipment, and brewing questions, and generate AI-drafted replies to support tickets.
• Track anonymous Drop Lab participation (points, levels, and achievements) as part of our weekly community coffee experiments, without linking any of it to your identity.
• Let you securely look up and reply to your own support ticket using your ticket number and email.
• Process payments for Scan Pack purchases through Ziina, and track your scan credit balance tied to your account.

Users are solely responsible for the content, recipes, and images they upload. By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive right to display and host it within the platform.

We retain user-submitted content for as long as the platform is operational. You may request deletion of your submitted recipes, images, ratings, or associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon verification, your data will be removed within 30 days. Conversation records from support interactions (including Instagram DMs and contact form messages) are retained for service continuity and quality improvement.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us operate the platform, including Meta Platforms Inc. (Instagram) for Instagram Business messaging integration, Google for email communication and authentication, xBloom (TBDx Inc.) for recipe synchronization, and Ziina for payment processing of Scan Pack purchases. When you choose to publish an AI-generated recipe to the xBloom system, we transmit only the brewing parameters (coffee weight, water temperature, grind settings, and pour steps) to xBloom to generate a shareable deep link for your convenience. These third parties process data under their own privacy policies and applicable laws. When you message our Instagram Business account, Meta may share your username and message content with us to enable our support services.

You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have submitted to The Recipe Drop. You may also request a copy of your data or withdraw consent for its use. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

The Recipe Drop is not intended for individuals under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Some features, such as AI recipe generation from scanned coffee bags, require a user account and consume scan credits. You can purchase Scan Packs (bundles of scan credits) through our payment provider Ziina. Each scan credit allows you to unlock one full AI-generated recipe. Payments are processed securely by Ziina — we do not store your card or banking information on our servers. All purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Scan credits are tied to your account and are non-transferable. Free scans may be offered from time to time at our discretion.

We reserve the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform signifies your acceptance of the updated terms.
